As a Command and Control Operator, you are the key link between the officers on the ground and the public. You will need to manage incidents as they come in, by assessing risk and deploying the most appropriate resources. You will need to respond to changing situations and priorities, and will support out front line officers, sending in extra resources quickly should this be required. You will also handle 999 emergency calls, whilst dealing with calls from other emergency services and agencies.
