About the role

As a Command and Control Operator, you are the key link between the officers on the ground and the public. You will need to manage incidents as they come in, by assessing risk and deploying the most appropriate resources. You will need to respond to changing situations and priorities, and will support out front line officers, sending in extra resources quickly should this be required. You will also handle 999 emergency calls, whilst dealing with calls from other emergency services and agencies.

To join our Force Control Room, you will need:

• to be able to deal with conflict and difficult situations.
• to have excellent communication skills, specifically via telephone and radio systems.
• to be able to receive information and extract the key points to initiate appropriate action.
• to be able to record information accurately and concisely, with excellent keyboard skills.
• excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office packages.
• a good knowledge of Lincolnshire.
