Notice of Conclusion of Audit for Financial Statements - Year Ended 31 March 2024
This notice is in accordance with Section 25 of the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 (Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014) and Regulation 16 of the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 (Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015):
Notifying that the audit of Chief Constable of Lincolnshire Police statement of accounts for the year ended 31 March 2024 have been concluded and statements are published.
The Independent Auditor’s Report to the Police and Crime Commissioner for Lincolnshire was issued by Grant Thornton UK LLP on 15 August 2025 alongside the audit certificate.
Any elector of Lincolnshire has the right to inspect and make copies of the following during normal office hours on application:
- Statement of accounts
- Auditor’s certificate that the audit of the accounts including that statement has been completed.
- Auditor’s opinion on the statement of accounts.
- Any recommendation relating to the authority, or an entity connected with it
To inspect the statement of accounts for the Chief Constable application is to be made to the Director of Finance & Corporate Services (S151), Chief Constable of Lincolnshire, PO Box 999, Deepdale Lane, Nettleham, Lincoln, LN5 7PH

Notice of conclusion of audit of accounts and audit opinion 2022/23
In accordance with Regulation 16(1) of the Accounts and Audit (England) Regulations 2015, notice is hereby given that the audit of the accounts of the Chief Constable has been concluded for the year ended 31 March 2023 and the Statements have been published.
The Accounts and Audit (Amendment) Regulations 2024 (Statutory Instrument 2024/907) which came into force on 30 September 2024 requires the accountability statements for this financial year to be approved not later than 13 December 2024.
The Independent Auditor’s Report to the Chief Constable of Lincolnshire was issued by Ernst & Young LLP on 3 December 2024 alongside the audit certificate.
The audited Statement of Accounts of the Chief Constable of Lincolnshire have now been published above. This is in accordance with Regulation 10 of the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/234), as amended by the Accounts and Audit (Amendment) Regulations 2024 (SI 2024/907) The Accounts and Audit (Amendment) Regulations 2024
