We have identified a vulnerable person in the last
quarter, and they have been safeguarded by our teams.
Community beat managers (CBM's) continue to work
closely with the Intelligence Department, Source
Handlers and Housing providers to identify drug activity
or cuckooing vulnerabilities (a form of action in which
the home of a vulnerable person is taken over by a
criminal in order to use it for criminal activities).
The outcome of the British Transport Police County
Lines week of action in July and August:
Over the week there was one person arrested for
conspiracy to supply Class B drugs and possession of
Class A. One person arrested in connection to Class B
drugs and driving offenses. We seized approximately
£3000 in cash and one lock knife. We conducted more
than 10 stop searches and we received seven
intelligence reports.
