How to make a Freedom of Information request
If you cannot find information you are looking for on this website you can make a Freedom of Information request. You can write to us at:

When requesting information please tell us:
- Your name and address
- The information or documents you would like to access
- How you would like to receive the information (e.g. hard copy or via email)
You can also submit a request on our application form below.
You do not have to make your request on an application form, but ours is easy and may help us to speed up your request. It also includes everything you need to know about making a request from us under the Freedom Of Information Act.
Fees and charges
Depending on the nature of your request a fee may be payable. Single copies are free of charge but requests for extra copies will incur a charge.
How long will it take?
You will receive a reply within 20 working days of us receiving your request. We aim to provide information listed in the Publication Scheme as soon as possible.
When dealing with requests we follow the guidelines as set out in the ACPO National Manual of Guidance.
