We are currently looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking leader to be the Director of Intelligence for Lincolnshire Police.
Applications are welcomed from;
Reporting to the Head of the Crime Directorate, you will lead the Lincolnshire Police management of intelligence in accordance with the National Intelligence Model and other relevant codes of practice. You will set the strategic direction of the Intelligence Department and play an integral part in continuously improving the quality of service provided to colleagues and the people of Lincolnshire, supporting the delivery of the Chief Constables strategy. You will be operating as the Force Authorising Officer and committed to leading the intelligence functions in accordance with the Force values, working as part of the Crime Directorate Senior Leadership Team. Working as a Superintendent in Lincolnshire Police you will be required to work as part of an on-call rota providing cover as Force Silver/PACE Superintendent.
Applications are invited from substantive PIP2 qualified Superintendents or PIP2 qualified Chief Inspectors on promotion. You must have wide ranging operational experience of major, serious and volume crime management and of leading investigations at a senior level, being able to make effective, critical operational judgements. In addition to this, you will need to have an excellent working knowledge and understanding of NIM and RIPA, and previous management experience. You must be an effective and persuasive communicator and be able to influence and operate at all levels.
You must be PIP2 qualified to be considered for this position.
