We are inviting police officers from across England and Wales to transfer into our Major Crime Unit (MCU) department.
Our MCU provide a collaborative approach to investigating murder and manslaughter across the East Midlands region. The team also supports partner forces with other major investigations, subject to operational demand and capacity.
We operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, delivering professional and timely major crime investigations while maintaining public confidence and securing the best possible outcomes for victims, their families and the wider community.
You will play a key role in supporting the investigation of the most serious and complex offences. You will be part of a highly skilled team committed to delivering high-quality investigations, working collaboratively with colleagues across the region to bring offenders to justice and protect the public.
Our MCU team operate from our station at Sleaford, Lincolnshire.
We're currently welcoming applications from Detective Constable transferees to join our team with multiple intakes planned, the next of which commences early February 2027. If this intake does not align with your needs, please contact us to discuss further.
