Cadet Resource Developer Volunteer (Ref:151)
Purpose
The Volunteer Police Cadet programme at Lincolnshire Police aims to support young people across the county by helping them learn about different aspects of policing through classroom-based activities and practical scenarios, getting involved in community projects, and supporting policing initiatives.
We are looking for a volunteer to help develop educational resources to support leaders in the delivery of the cadet programme.
What you will be doing
Roles and tasks may vary, but will include:
- Creating and developing session plans, presentations, and activities
- Supporting a focus on interactive, engaging, and accessible learning
- Researching age appropriate resources and materials
- Reviewing existing content to ensure it remains accurate and up to date
Skills, experience, and qualities needed
- Knowledge of IT including Microsoft systems such as Word and PowerPoint
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to present information clearly
- Passionate about supporting young people
- Ability to work independently
- Some knowledge or experience of youth education or policing is desirable
Location and times
This role will be based at Lincolnshire Police HQ and volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of 4 hours per week. Dates and times are flexible in agreement with a local line manager.

Other information
- Expenses incurred as a result of the role will be paid at the relevant rate
- Volunteers must be over 18
- The role requires a security check (vetting)
- Volunteers are asked to sign an agreement to maintain confidentiality, as you may have access to sensitive material
