To support the administration of police facilitated community scrutiny panels and to support the independence of the panels, building on public trust and confidence.
The post holder will be an independent conduit between the police and the public, to support with the promotion and administration of scrutiny panels (in person, online and hybrid).
Roles and tasks may vary, but will include:
Lincolnshire Police Headquarters and other stations in the force area as required (roughly 1-2 days per month, this can be broken down to hours as required for the volume of work and may increase ahead of a panel or on launch of a request for public applications).
Remotely from home to attend online community scrutiny panels (expected quarterly for 2.5 hours on a weekday evening).
All volunteers receive a local induction and a Volunteer Handbook with all the information you will need to support you in your role. A locla induction adn guidance around scrutiny panels will be provided by the EDI team and scrutiny panel leads.
