To design, develop and deliver professional development for staff based within the Force Control Room (FCR), including supporting initial training courses as well as leading refresher training courses (including management of materials). The post holder will also support the development of the teams through ongoing monitoring of quality of service delivered including giving feedback and identifying training needs where appropriate.
In your role you will work closely with members of the FCR leadership team, L&D Department as well as other internal & external stakeholders.
It is expected that the FCR Trainer & CPD lead will always demonstrate the force values and work towards supporting delivery of the Chief Constables Strategy.
All staff involved in carrying out functions in this role will do so in accordance with the principles of the Code of Ethics. The aim of the Code of Ethics is to support each member of the policing profession to deliver the highest professional standards in their service to the public.
The standard shift pattern for the role is shown, however flexible working patterns will be considered on a full and part-time basis. Applications will be considered on an individual basis and all requests must meet the organisational need as well as individual need, which can be determined with the successful applicant.
The shift pattern will be Monday - Friday between 0900 and 1700 for up to 37 hours and will be discussed further at interview.
