A main motivator for criminal activity is the need for money. By helping young people gain a legitimate income and be able to support themselves financially without the need to commit crime, we are increasing their ability to make better choices.
If you are a local business looking for an innovative and meaningful way to fulfil your social responsibility, can you offer work experience, apprenticeships or employment to young people working with our project? If so, please contact us on the details below.
The project is in no way a punitive tactic and you should not believe that the young people we identify will cause issues for your business. The project is purely aimed at supporting those we feel are most vulnerable to being exploited for criminal purposes.
We will work closely with you to match a young person with the most appropriate organisation.
Referrals into the project can be made by anyone, including parents, teachers, agencies or even the young person themselves or their friends. If you have concerns that a young person you know aged 11-21yrs, living in Gainsborough is at risk of becoming involved in violent crime please submit the below referral.
