Are you 11 to 21 years old and living in Gainsborough?
Pressure from peers or older adults to become involved in criminal activity is hard to step away from, but we’re here to help and support you in making the best choices for your future.
If you are a young person aged between 11 and 21 years old and facing that kind of pressure and don’t know what to do, our team is here for you. If you are concerned for a friend who you think is being pulled in the wrong direction, you can also make a referral on their behalf.
As a young person in our programme, you will be part of creating the bespoke plan that will address your specific risk factors. In simple terms, this means that we are going to work with you to understand what might be leading you towards potentially committing a crime and help you to create a plan to go a different route.
This might include a number of tactics such as
Referring yourself or making a referral for a friend will not get anybody into trouble. In fact, it could mean the difference between landing in serious trouble with the police and changing course from a potentially dangerous future.
Working in partnership with your family or carers will be critical, so we will approach them for consent if you are under 18.
You can choose to make a referral yourself or refer someone you think needs our help.
