Di joined Lincolnshire Police in 1996, straight after sixth form.
Di has served her entire career in the county, both in uniform and as a detective. More recently she has been DCI for the Major Crime Unit, the Ops Superintendent for the East of the County as well as on secondment to Lincolnshire County Council as the Assistant Director for Public Protection. She is currently the Assistant Chief Constable for Local Policing and Partnerships.
Although Di joined straight from sixth form she subsequently achieved an MSc in Leadership and Management from Warwick Business School.
Di was born and raised in Lincolnshire and has over the years worked across most areas of the county and is committed to doing the best by the residents and visitors to Lincolnshire. She is people-focused and dedicated to doing the right thing.
Di lives in the south of Lincolnshire with her husband and son, she is a keen dog walker with their golden Labrador, and would dearly love to get back to her former hobby as a glider pilot when time allows.
