A misconduct hearing is to be held between 9 and 13 October for Former PC Barratt, Former PC Feeney, PC Hood, SC Kingston.
It is alleged that the Constables breached the following standards of professional behaviour:
The Constables were stationed at Lincoln.
It is alleged that on 24 October 2021 the officers breached the standards of professional behaviour when they attended an incident at Thesiger Street, Lincoln and used excessive force against a member of the public. It is alleged three of the officers forcibly placed the man into a police car when not under arrest and took him to a separate address. At the address it is alleged force was used again without any lawful authority and that they entered and searched the address without police powers or authority to do so. It is alleged they failed to show respect and courtesy and failed in their duty of care by failing to provide appropriate care and support and failed to deal with offences that had been committed.
