A 20-year-old man has been charged for dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, possession of drugs, failing to stop and driving without insurance.
The driver of the silver Ford Focus was first seen by officers on the A153 at Sleaford around 4pm on Sunday 13 September.
He was requested to stop but didn't and then continued to fail to stop for a further 10 miles. The man was arrested when his car stopped working and he pulled over in a layby near Tumby.
As the driver has now been charged, we are limited in what information we can release while legal proceedings are ongoing. We nevertheless wanted to inform anyone who witnessed the pursuit or was affected by it that a charge has been made.
Finn Weston, aged 20, of Derwent Drive, Oakham, Rutland, has been charged with five offences and will appear at Lincoln Magistrates Court on Tuesday 15 September.
