Two 24-year-old men from Leicester have been arrested in Skegness on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
A vehicle failed to stop for our officers yesterday (15 June) and made off at speed onto Castleton Boulevard.
After a short pursuit, the officers lost sight of the BMW which was later found abandoned. But swift CCTV enquiries indicated that the suspects had headed to a nearby hotel on Roman Bank, where both were subsequently arrested.
A quantity of cash and drugs were found on the men, and cash was also discovered in the footwell of the vehicle.
Both men have been released under investigation while our enquiries continue.
Incident 224 of 15 June refers.
