This is Lisa Waterfall, a PCSO in Boston.
Her experience, big heart, and desire to make a difference has brought enormous value to many vulnerable people and the community since joining the force as a PCSO in Spalding 15 years ago, before transferring to Boston nine years ago.
Her role is slightly different to other PCSOs as she’s part of the Resilience Team monitoring shop thefts and working with repeat offenders and partner agencies to reduce offending.
Lisa’s heart lies in working with vulnerable people, especially the homeless and those with mental health challenges. She’s always wanted to help people and make a difference.
The work she does with partner agencies has helped many people turn their life around.
Lisa said: "I never judge, I have the utmost respect for our vulnerable people, and they have respect for me. They don’t find me intimidating.
"I build positive relationships with them as I spend most of my time engaging with them. I help them through their challenges, at the same time as working on crime prevention, making our community a safe and welcoming place to be".
