The EOD have concluded that the grenade is inert and the area has been deemed safe. Those who were evacuated from their properties can return, and the incident has concluded. Thank you to everyone for their patience.

A 100m cordon is in place outside a property in Fleet Street, Holbeach, as a hand grenade is believed to be located in a garden.
Explosive Ordnance Disposal have been contacted. Please avoid the area until advised, while the incident is brought to a safe conclusion.
