Were you out clubbing in Spalding on New Year’s Eve into New Year’s Day?
We need your help with an ongoing investigation into a report of a sexual assault at XO club, which is reported to have taken place around 4.50am on New Year’s Day.
The incident is reported to have happened by the bathrooms at the club, where a man described as white, in his 30s, with a bald head is alleged to have assaulted a woman he didn’t know by touching.
We are asking for anyone who might have been in that area of the club around that time and may have witnessed an interaction between someone matching that description and a woman, to come forward with anything they remember. We are particularly keen to view any video footage or images which might help the investigation.
We realise this was a week and a half ago, and any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated. This appeal supports a number of enquiries which have been going on in the background since the report.
A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault in connection with the incident and has been released on bail while investigations continue.
