A 43-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident has ben released on police bail while enquiries continue.
We are asking for dashcam footage which might help our investigation into a report of a robbery at a garage in Ulceby in the early hours of this morning.
We were called to reports that several masked men had entered Ulceby Cross Petrol Station shortly after 3.20am today (Saturday, 11 January) before threatening staff and stealing cigarettes.
Nobody was hurt during the incident, but staff have been left shaken by the encounter.
Officers were immediately deployed to the incident and located a black Luton transit van with roller shutter doors to the rear, which is believed to have been involved, about a mile south of Burwell in the Louth direction.
We are keen to view footage of the van in the time leading up to the incident and after, and we’re asking that if you were travelling along the A16 between Ulceby and Louth, or the surrounding roads, between 3.25am and 3.40a, please check your dashcam footage. If you have footage which has captured this van or any other vehicles on the roads at that time, please share it with us.
