We are appealing for information after a car, stolen during a burglary in January, was recovered.
The blue Ford Focus Zetec was reported stolen on 29 January from a property in Long Bennington. It was found abandoned on a private road off Cliff Hill Lane, north of the village of Thoroton in Nottinghamshire. The car was burned and stripped of parts, including its gearbox.
We are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the vehicle being stripped or anyone who may have CCTV, dashcam or RING doorbell footage of the car travelling along the following villages and surrounding farms and businesses:
If you can help, please contact DC Dave Asher on 101 (Lincolnshire Police) extension 3295027 or [email protected] quoting occurrence number 2500058872 in the subject line.
We are appealing for information after a car was stolen from a property in Long Bennington last night (29 January).
This happened at a property on Welbournes Lane and a blue Ford Focus Zetec with the number plate AJ19 NMF was believed to have been taken at some point between 11.40pm and midnight.
We are keen to identify a man who was seen walking down Welbournes Lane from the direction of Main Road at approximately 10.53pm.
A pick-up truck was also seen at around 11.43pm and was believed to have come from Main Road and parked along Welbourne Lane before leaving the area.
If you have any CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage from 10.30pm to midnight yesterday please get in touch. We are particularly interested in footage that captured any movement on Main Street, Witham Road, Wheatsheaf Lane, Welbournes Lane and Back Lane to progress our enquiries.
