Appeal after woman assaulted in Lincoln

We are appealing for eyewitnesses, CCTV and dashcam footage after an assault in Lincoln.

A woman was attacked in the area of Coleridge Gardens and Swift Gardens at around 4.50pm on the Friday, 3 January.

She sustained injuries to her face and head.

A group of four young boys were in the area at the time, and we believe they may be able to help us with our investigations.

A 47-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man were both arrested in connection with the incident and have been subsequently released on bail.

Enquiries are ongoing and investigators are keen to speak to anyone who has CCTV in the area or dashcam footage.
