Alex Bracken took his life last year in 2023.
Described as popular, kind, and thoughtful, Alex left a huge impact on anyone who came into contact with him.
He had last been seen at the family home just outside of Lincoln before he went missing last October.
His parents Wayne and Jayne called Lincolnshire Police to report his disappearance.
One year on from Alex’s tragic death, his parents have spoken about the search for Alex and what they went through before he was found in a sit-down interview with the force.
They hope that this video will help someone, somewhere and we would encourage people to share this far and wide.
We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Alex’s parents for taking the time to speak to us and for being so candid.
We also spoke to those within Lincolnshire Police, who conducted the search for Alex to explain what they did and when.
This video is by no means an exhaustive account of everyone who contributed to the search effort.
Dozens of people went above and beyond, working extra hours to search for Alex. And without them, we would not have succeeded.
Wayne and Jayne are open to speaking to the media about Alex. If you would like to speak to them, contact [email protected]
