We will never know the full extent of the abuse that Holly endured. We know it only ended when her abuser took Holly’s life in the most barbaric way. Holly was just 26 years old.
This is a tragedy that cannot ever be undone. But Holly’s mum, Annette, while devastated by her loss, is determined to try to channel her grief into something positive – by raising awareness of abuse, highlighting support and urging people to seek help. For Holly, we are working with Annette and the Lincolnshire Domestic Abuse Specialist Service (LDASS), to help make that happen.
Annette said, “We, as a family, are asking and encouraging anyone living with domestic abuse to seek support and tell someone. There are services out there who can help victims find the happiness and freedom they deserve. LDASS provide nonjudgmental support to anyone who reaches out.”
What LDASS do: “We offer specialist support and assistance to individuals and families in Lincolnshire who are experiencing domestic abuse. If you or someone you know is going through domestic abuse, we're here to help.”
“We are here to listen and we won’t judge or tell you what to do. We provide a confidential service and can offer you advice and guidance on a range of situations and signpost you to relevant services in the local area.”

This release is part of our campaign #ForHolly in which we, together with Holly’s mum, Annette Bramley, and the Lincolnshire Domestic Abuse Specialist Service, are working to raise awareness and promote help and support for domestic abuse.
