We’re proud to support #BlackHistoryMonth and the theme of Reclaiming Narratives, celebrating the voices and stories that shape Black history and culture. Throughout this month, we’ll be connecting with our Black communities, and our own staff, to share and learn about their lived experiences.
Lincolnshire Police’s Chief Constable Paul Gibson said: “I’m really proud that Lincolnshire Police will be giving full support to a programme of initiatives throughout the duration of Black History Month.
“We will be reinvigorating our commitment and activity around the Police Race Action Plan. I‘m absolutely committed to an anti-racist police service because it’s vital that we stand up and actively drive out racism where we see it. Our goal is to be a police force that has the confidence and trust of our Black communities. One which looks inwardly at our own culture and behaviours to ensure we are rooting out and removing any intolerance and racism from the service.”
