We have issued a 48-hour dispersal order for North Hykeham starting at 6pm today (24 May).
This comes after we have received intelligence concerning potential Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) in the area.
The notice will enable our officers to remove people when necessary to prevent disorder.
The order also covers Millenium Lakes, Apex Lakes and the surrounding areas in North Hykeham and will be in place until 6pm on Sunday (26 May).
Inspector Rachel Blackwell said: “Our intelligence relates to a possible pre-planned disorder at Millenium Lakes this weekend. The dispersal order is placed as a preventative measure to prevent Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and to help keep our communities safe from harm.
"You may see additional officers in the area over the weekend. This is not to limit the enjoyment of the open spaces, but to ensure that anyone going there is responsible, safe and not affecting the enjoyment of others visiting or living nearby."
If you see any large gatherings causing a nuisance, please call 101 quoting incident 153 of 23 May 2024.
