Officers from both Lincolnshire Police’s Roads Policing Unit and the Serious Collisions Investigations Unit have been following several lines of enquiry since the incident on 23 May. A man, aged 18, has now been arrested on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of a collision and dangerous driving. A vehicle has also been seized in connection with the investigation. He is currently in police custody for questioning.
We are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was seriously injured during a collision yesterday afternoon (23 May).
This was believed to have happened at around 5.30pm on Greenfield Lane and involved a male cyclist in his 60s.
We’re keen to speak anybody in the area at the time, particularly the driver of a white Ford Fiesta.
The victim sustained serious injuries, but they are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering.
If you witnessed the collision, or if you have any other information that can assist with our inquiries, please get in touch.
