We are appealing for witnesses and information following a report of a dog attack in Lincoln.
The incident was believed to have taken place on Turner Avenue between 4.15pm and 4.30pm on Wednesday 8 May.
A grey Staffordshire Bull Terrier had allegedly attacked a smaller dog and its owner, a man in his 70s.
The victim sustained injuries to his hands and is receiving ongoing treatment. The dog also sustained injuries but is recovering.
The owner of the Terrier, who is described as a white man, approximately 5ft10ins tall with dark hair, had reportedly left with his dog and was seen walking towards Westwick Avenue.
Following extensive CCTV enquiries, we are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward with any information that can assist in our investigation.
