Our investigation into the death of Adam Bailey is continuing and our detectives have been following a number of lines of enquiry over the past several weeks.
As part of those investigations, we made a further arrest, yesterday (Wednesday, 3 April). A 44-year-old woman was arrested in the Sleaford area on suspicion of murder. She has since been released on bail.
We are still continuing to appeal for witnesses, information of footage of Adam in the time leading up to his death. He frequented the Tamer Road or Boston Road areas of Sleaford.

We are following a new line of enquiry in our investigation into the death of Adam Bailey in Sleaford, and we’re asking the public if they may have seen him in or around Lloyds Bank, Northgate, at some point between 11 and 16 February.
We believe that he may have visited the bank at some point during that time, and we’re keen to speak with anyone who may have seen him there and can tell us about his interactions, and physical state.
We also believe that he may have been speaking with a man outside the branch at some point, and we are keen to hear more about this interaction.
This location is opposite a busy pub and there may have been people in the venue who saw something at the time.
We’re especially keen to view any footage, and we’d ask you to check mobile phones or dashcam if you may have been in the area during those dates.
We know that we have asked for sightings of Adam previously, but this is a new specific ask around the Lloyds bank area. We also realise that this was a while ago, and that we’re asking you to check a wide date range; we’re doing so because we have a duty to follow every possible lead to help us understand the circumstances around his death. If you can help, please come forward.

We're particularly interested in information about interactions Adam had, or sightings of Adam, between 9 February and 12 February, but would be keen to hear about anything up to 16 February when he was sadly found dead.
Adam was frequently in and around the Tamer Road or Boston Road areas of Sleaford.

Include the incident number 205 of 16 February for Lincolnshire Police.
Can you help us establish whether Adam was alive after Monday 12 February?
After following a number of lines of enquiry, we are now keen to determine if there were any sightings or interactions with Adam after 12 February.
We know Adam was alive on February 11 when he was seen at the Riverside pharmacy, and he was sadly found dead on 16 February.
A key part of our investigation is to determine when he was last seen alive.
We believe he may have still been alive on or after 12 February, but we need information to confirm this.
Visual proof such as pictures of videos would be a huge help to our investigation, and we are also keen to take first-hand accounts from witnesses.
Please think back: where you in and around the Tamer Road or Boston Road areas at any point between 12 and 16 February and may have taken a picture on your phone? It could be that you captured him in the background and we’d ask that you check you pictures to see if that’s the case.
Have you viewed videos on social media?
Did you know you can submit information completely anonymously through Crimestoppers? We will never know it was you who sent the information in. We’re reminding you of this in case you are worried about coming forward.

We are continuing our investigation today into the death of Adam Bailey, and we are sharing a new image of him believed to have been taken on 11 February to aid our appeal.
He is seen to be in a dishevelled state, and at this stage we are keeping an open mind about the cause of his appearance and would ask that people do not speculate online.
We are very keen to see speak with anyone who may have had contact with Adam in the days leading up to his death, or may have witnessed him in contact with other people in or around Sleaford, or at his flat or another property, between 12 noon on 11 February and 2.15pm on 16 February.
We are particularly keen to view any video footage which may show Mr Bailey interacting with other people in the days prior to his death. This includes any dashcam footage which local commuters may have captured, videos filmed on mobile phones or circulating on social media, or CCTV or doorbell footage from the local community.
Another line of enquiry we are exploring is around any people who may have visited his flat before his death, and we would ask that if you have any information which may be able to help that line of enquiry, to please come forward.
You can now send information through our dedicated Major Incident Public Portal (MIPP) under Operation Lace.
The portal allows anyone with information and media content such as videos pertaining to the investigation to submit them directly to the team.
Detective Inspector Andrew McWatt, Senior Investigating Officer, said: “We are keeping an open mind about the circumstances, but we believe there may be people who will have witnessed something, or have information about Mr Bailey’s death or his interactions with others before he died, which might help our ongoing investigation who we have not yet spoken with.
“It might be that you don’t realise that what you saw or heard is important; we’d ask that you think back, or view mobile phone or dashcam footage, or social media where you may have seen something posted, and get in touch with anything that might be relevant and allow us to decide.
"Any piece of information can prove crucial in an investigation, and we’d rather have as much information as possible than miss a key detail, no matter how small. I realise that investigations of this nature can be concerning for the local community to hear about. Thankfully they are not common for the local area, but we are still taking this very seriously.”
One person arrested in connection with the incident remains in police custody.

We have launched an investigation into the death of a man who was found in his property in Tamer Road, Sleaford, on 16 February.
Officers were called to reports of a concern for safety at 2.15pm on 16 February, and on attendance found Adam Bailey, 49, dead at the address. His next of kin have been informed.
A number of enquiries have been undertaken since his death, which is currently unexplained, and we are now asking for help from our community in piecing together his movements and who he may have been with prior to his death.

Mr Bailey was last seen wearing dark trousers and grey top, but may have also had a coat when outside. We would be keen to hear first-hand accounts as well as view footage from CCTV cameras and dashcams.
Officers including forensic investigators, detectives, and uniformed patrol officers will be in the local area over the next several days while they carry out further enquiries.
