We are appealing for witnesses and information after a collision left a 12-year-old girl with a fractured foot.
On Saturday 23 March, the victim was crossing on the Moorland Way crossing on Tritton Road when a car reportedly ran over her foot.
The victim was with a group of secondary school age children at the time of the incident, and this was believed to have happened between 3.10pm and 3.45pm.
The female driver and male passenger of the car allegedly stopped to check on the victim, but later left without providing their details.
The vehicle is believed to be metallic blue in colour and may be a Nissan Qashqai or a Kia Sportage.
