A 31-year-old man has been charged with a Section 18 wounding with intent.
Henry Lambert, of St Rumbold Street, Lincoln has been remanded into custody and will appear in court later today.
We continue to appeal for witnesses and any other information that can assist with our investigations.
An investigation is underway after a man was injured in Lincoln today.
We were called just before 10am today (Sunday 30 June) to reports of two men fighting in St Andrew’s Street, Lincoln. One man, aged 30, was seriously injured and has been taken to hospital for treatment.
A second man, aged 31, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently in police custody.
A police cordon is in place on St Andrew’s Street and the surrounding area.
We would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything that might be relevant to the investigation and who has not already have spoken to police.
