We have charged Tommy Smith, 22, with Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH) wounding with intent following an incident where a woman reported suffering injuries to her jaw.
Smith, of Oakleigh Road, Grantham, is accused of the assault on 15 May at East Avenue in Grantham. It is alleged he punched the victim, who is in her 20s, to her face at around 3.40pm that day, causing the injury.
He was arrested and charged on 7 July, and remanded for a hearing at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court yesterday (8 July), where he was remanded into custody.
He will next appear at Lincoln Crown Court, on a date to be confirmed.
