A 16-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder following an incident in Holbeach.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been remanded and is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court, this morning (29 July).
We are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident, and would like to again politely ask people to respect the families of those involved and not to speculate on the circumstances of this incident while we continue our investigation.
We have arrested a 16-year-old boy in connection with an assault in Holbeach.
Officers attended Spalding Road in Holbeach at 1.52am today (28 July) where they found a 16-year-old boy with serious injuries. The boy was taken to hospital where he remains.
A 16-year-old boy has since been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. He remains in police custody where he will be questioned in due course.
We would politely ask people to respect the families of those involved and not to speculate on the circumstances of this incident while we continue our investigation.
