Appeal: alleged assault, Moor Lane, Branston

We are investigating a report of an assault in Moor Lane, Branston which is reported to have happened at around 12.30pm on Monday, 22 July.

Were you driving or otherwise in the area at the time, and do you have a dashcam or other recording device which might have captured an altercation between two men?

We’re asking you to check any recordings to see if you have captured something that could help with our enquiry.

We are particularly keen to speak to the drivers or passengers of both a grey car and a red car which are believed to have pulled up in Moor Lane at the time, and could have information which could help with our investigation.

We would also like to ask that people do not speculate online about this incident, as such discussion can hider our investigation, and in some circumstances, generate further work for our officers, deterring them from the investigation at hand.
