Storm Henk is affecting parts of Lincolnshire with gusty winds and outbreaks of rain. Two yellow weather warnings are currently in place for wind and rain and are expected to remain until tonight.
The Lincolnshire Resilience Forum (LRF) is aware and has been meeting throughout today to monitor the impact of the storm and how it might be affecting communities. An emergency hasn’t been declared at this stage, and we are paying particular attention to areas in Torksey Lock area, Short Ferry and Fiskerton and Branston Delph.
There are things that you can do to protect your property from flooding. The first is to keep an eye on the forecast to see what is expected for your area and if you are at risk of flooding you can take several steps to minimise the impact as much as possible. More information can be found on the LRF web pages about flooding here.
