Four people have been arrested in connection with the robbery that took place at the Co-op on Lincoln Road in Wragby just before 10pm on Sunday 8 December.
Various searches have taken place and, what we believe to be, some of the stolen property has been recovered.
All four have been released on bail whilst inquiries continue.
We are on scene at Co-op in Lincoln Road, Wragby following a report of a robbery overnight.
Our Force Control Room received a call at 10.09pm last night (Sunday, 8 December) reporting that two members of staff had been assaulted by two men as they were closing the store. Thankfully, they did not suffer any serious injuries.
The men stole cash and cigarettes, which were put in large white bags.
The description we are currently working with is of two white men with skinny builds, dressed all in black, and one had an Irish accent.
We need your help to try and expand this description, and find out more about what happened and the people responsible.
If you were driving in and around that area between 9.50pm and 10.20pm and you have a dashcam, please check your footage
We would like to establish the direction the men may have come from and left in, and whether there were any vehicles involved.
This is a very concerning incident and we remain at the scene today while we investigate.
The store is closed while detectives and staff from our forensic team carry out examinations of the scene, and we will work as swiftly and thoroughly as we can to enable the Co-op to get the store reopened.
If you can help, please contact us on 101 asking for DC Emma Dodsworth in East Lindsey CID, quoting incident 404 of Sunday, 8 December.
