We are appealing for witnesses after a man was found with stab wounds in Lincoln.
At 11.14pm on Saturday (14 December), we received a call reporting that someone had been assaulted in Appleby Way.
Officers attended and found a man in his 40s with stab wounds to his buttock. He was taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
Two men, aged 18 and 36, were arrested later that day on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. Both have been released on bail with conditions not to enter the Birchwood Estate.
We are now seeking witnesses to the incident, anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area, or anyone with information to get in touch.
Email DC Rick Morley on [email protected] quoting Incident 507 of 14 December.
