A 21-year-old man has been jailed for two years after he pleaded guilty to child sex offences.
Raimondas Vimbaras of Dysart Road in Grantham appeared at Lincoln Crown Court on Friday, 9 August.
He was charged with attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity, as well as attempting to engage in sexual communications with a child.
The incidents took place in July and August of 2023.
Vimbaras was sentenced to two years in prison.
He was given a sexual harm Prevention Order for 10 years and was signed up to the sex offenders register for the same period of time.
Detective Constable Stewart Humm said: “This kind of behaviour will not be tolerated in Lincolnshire, and we will pursue all lines of enquiry to ensure perpetrators are brought to justice.
“I’d like to thank everyone involved in the case for their work and the bravery of those involved who worked with us in a challenging time.”
