Appeal after man found with serious injuries in Lincoln

We are appealing for information after a man was found with serious injuries in Lincoln.
Just before 1.30am today (19 August) colleagues at EMAS alerted us that a man in his 40s was found serious injured on the junction of Moorland Avenue and Westwick Drive.
He has since been taken to hospital, where he remains.
A scene guard is currently in place on Westwick Drive, between Westwick Gardens and Moorland Avenue and these roads will be closed for some time while inquiries are carried out.
An investigation is underway to establish the exact circumstances involved in the incident.
We are appealing for witnesses and any other information that can assist with our inquiries.
