A woman has died following a collision on the Eastern Bypass, Lincoln. Our Control Room received a call reporting an RTC on the A15 between Wragby Road and Greetwell Road, just before 4.45pm on Monday 22 April.
Two vehicles involved were a silver Kia Ceed, which was travelling southbound towards Greetwell Road and a Black Range Rover travelling northbound towards Wragby Road. The driver of the Kia Creed, a 67-year-old woman died after being taken to hospital. Her family have been informed and will be supported by specially trained officers. The driver of the Range Rover was not seriously injured.
We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has video footage of the collision or the vehicles travelling along the A15 to get in touch. Any who can assist is asked to email the Investigating Officer by email on [email protected] or call 01522 212316
