We can confirm a body has been found in our search for missing 94-year-old Colin.
Formal identification has yet to take place after the discovery was made in the Tetney Lock area on the afternoon of Friday, 5 April.
Colin’s family have been made aware.
His disappearance was reported to Humberside Police after he was last seen in the College Street area of Grimsby at around 12pm on Tuesday, 2 April.
His vehicle was later discovered at Tetney Lock as part of the ongoing investigation into his whereabouts.
The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time and a file will be passed to the coroner.
