The man and woman in their 30s have been released on bail while inquiries are ongoing.

We continue to appeal for witnesses and any other information that can assist with our investigation.

We have arrested a man for a series of offences in the Lincoln area.

At 9.09am on Tuesday 30 May, we received reports of an altercation between a woman and a man on Meadowlake Crescent. The man was described as potentially in possession of a firearm.

Armed officers were deployed to the scene and as they arrive, a white car collides with the police car and drives off. Officers pursued the car, which collided with items outside a shop on Larchwood Crescent.

No firearm was found following a thorough search of the area.

A man in his 30s fled from the vehicle and was later arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm, possession of Class A drugs and traffic offences.

A woman in her 30s was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm.

Inquiries are still ongoing, and we are appealing for witnesses and any other information that can assist with our investigation.
