Following several reports of anti-social behaviour around the Millennium, Teal and Apex Lakes area of North Hykeham, a dispersal order has been put in place from now until 5pm on 29 May.
Officers will be making patrols of the area throughout the bank holiday weekend and, and anyone engaging in anti-social behaviour will be made to leave the vicinity immediately.
We are asking parents and carers to know where their children are over the bank holiday and during the half term, and ensure that we won’t be bringing their child home if we get called to a disturbance.
We would also like to remind people about the message from the National Fire Chief's Council about how to #BeWaterAware: the water may look inviting but even on a warm day the water will be cold. It doesn’t matter if you are a strong swimmer, there is still a danger.
Please enjoy your weekend, but don’t be tempted to cool off in open water.
