Witness appeal - Tower Gardens, Skegness

The charged man has been remanded in cusody to appear at Lincoln Crown Court next month.

 

Update - 8.30 am 12 June

Saad Gomaa, 33, from the Skegness area, has been charged with an offence of rape and will appear at Lincoln Magistrates Court Monday 12 June.

Our investigation remains ongoing and specialist officers are working with the victim.

Officers were called to the Tower Gardens area of Skegness just after 10.40 pm on Friday, 9 June, to a report of a sexual assault. 

We are appealing for witnesses or anyone who was in the Tower Gardens area of Skegness between 10 pm and 11 pm on Friday, 9 June, and may have information that will assist our inquiries to get in touch. 

A man, aged 33, from the local area, has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and remains in custody.
