A cannabis grow has been found in a property in Boston following a report from a member of the community.
We were called to reports that cannabis plants were being grown in a property in Orchard Street in the town after a broken window was spotted and the plants seen inside shortly before 9pm last night (23 June).
On arrival, officers found around 90 plants being grown throughout the building, with hazardous wiring throughout. The property was made safe by the power company last night. Nobody was found at the address, and attempted to find those responsible are underway.
Specialist officers and are on scene today dismantling the grow, and crime scene investigators have also been called into to carry out further examinations.
We have now opened an investigation and will be carrying out further enquiries in the local area over the coming days.
We would appeal to anyone who might have information about the cannabis grow, including CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage of people coming and going from the premises, to get in touch.
If you can help, please contact Detective Sergeant Katie Moore on [email protected] quoting incident number 574 of 23 June.
