A man has been arrested after three burglaries happened overnight in Mablethorpe.
The break-ins affected three businesses on the High Street, the first report coming in the early hours at 3.08am. Officers were assigned at 3.11, mobile at 3.12 and at the scene at 3.13 within five minutes of the initial call.
A man seen fleeing the scene led to a foot chase, with Officers later arresting a 36-year-old man.
We are now collecting and reviewing CCTV, making enquiries on the High Street and taking statements. Staff from our Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) team have been on site, gathering evidence.
We would like to send our sincere gratitude to the people of Mablethorpe whose assistance – in providing information and highlighting items of potential evidential value – has been invaluable.
If you have any information, and have not yet spoken to Police, please contact Sgt Stuart Linsell: [email protected] quoting incident reference number 34 of 21 June.
Update at 16:30, 22 June: The man has been released on conditional bail, the condition being that he does not enter Lincolnshire except to answer bail.
