We are investigating a burglary from a caravan at Promenade Caravan Park, Roman Bank, Skegness. During the night someone entered through an open window above the bed where an occupant was sleeping. A purse containing cash, personal ID cards, cigarettes, headphones and a key were stolen. The occupants were not woken by the intruder but obviously this was a very distressing experience.
This happened at some point overnight between 11.30pm, 19 June and 8.30am, 20 June.
We are appealing for any information to help us investigate this crime. If you saw or heard anything suspicious, please email DS Anna Harvey: anna.harve[email protected] with incident reference number 144 of 20 June.
Today we are enjoying some warm weather and it’s the summer solstice – the longest day of the year. We would like to reiterate our warning about open doors and windows and leaving items on show. Find out more about our Beating Burglary Together campaign which launched on Monday.
