A 32-year-old man from Newark was arrested yesterday on suspicion of 15 offences, including two burglaries of homes and nine non-residential burglaries* in Lincolnshire.
This follows four warrants in Newark for which officers from our Hykeham Policing Team joined forces with our neighbours from the Newark and Sherwood Operation Reacher team.
The man has been released on conditional bail while our investigation is ongoing.
As part of the raids, Nottinghamshire Police also arrested a man and woman, aged 28 and 32, for drugs related offences and a 51-year-old man, who was wanted for an unrelated offence.
An electric bike, power tools and several motorbikes have been recovered some of which have already been confirmed as stolen. A van and car have also been seized.
This week we launched our campaign, beating burglary together, in which we committed to show you more of the work we are doing to demonstrate our commitment to tackle burglary.
