Burglaries in the Suttons

Original appeal on 26 June: We are appealing for information after two burglaries were reported in the Suttons area. 

This first incident, at Sutton Bridge Golf Club, happened at some point overnight on the 21 / 22 June. An outbuilding was broken into and a John Deere Gator was taken along with three chainsaws and a petrol strimmer.  

The second incident, at Long Sutton Cricket Club, happened the following night on the 22 / 23 June. Padlocks were cut in order to break into a garage. A petrol strimmer, air blower and two spreaders (lawn mower attachments) were taken, along with a tool box and a grass raking machine.

Due to the proximity and the methods used by the offenders, we believe these two incidents may be linked.

Update on 29 June: We are investigating a further burglary on Hospital Road, Sutton Bridge. Wheels, lawnmowers and strimmers were stolen from a workshop at some point overnight on the 25/26 June. If you have any information, please contact [email protected] with incident reference 90 of 28 June.
