We are keen to speak to the driver of a Mini who may be able to help with our investigation into the fatal collision that happened on the A6121 near Toft on Friday 21 July.
The Mini has tinted rear windows and was travelling on the A6121 from Bourne towards Toft at around 7.15pm to 7.20pm.
We believe the driver may have seen the black Nissan Qashqai involved before the collision happened or may have witnessed the collision itself.
Our inquiries are ongoing.
If you can help, please get in touch by contacting DS Helen Allcroft from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at [email protected] quoting incident 458 of 21 July.
The man arrested in connection with this incident has been rleeased on police bail.
Our enquiries are continuing and we refresh our appeal for anyone who we have not yet spoken with to come forward.
We are saddened to confirm that a man in his 50s has died following the collision on the A6121 at Bourne.
His family have been informed and will be supported by specially trained officers.

We renew our appeal for anyone with information who we have not yet spoken with to come forward in the following ways:
The A6121 at Stamford Hill has been reopened.
We are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision involving three vehicles on the A6121 at near to Bourne. We were called to the collision at the top of Stamford Hill just outside of Toft village at 7.20pm last night (21 July).
The vehicles involved were a black Nissan Qashqai, a white BMW X1 and a grey Ford Focus.
The A6121 remains closed at the Manthorpe junction and between the villages of Toft and Lound while initial investigations are carried out and the road cleared. We will provide an update once it is reopened.
We have now launched an investigation to establish the circumstances of the collision, and we would appeal for anyone who has dashcam footage which may have captured any of the vehicles involved travelling along the A6121 around the time of the incident to come forward. We would also be keen to view any footage which may have captured the collision itself, and hear from anyone who might have other information which might help our investigation..
