The family and friends of Sean Taylor who died in a collision on 21 September have been left devastated when they found a roadside memorial for Sean had been damaged.
The memorial was placed on the roadside of the A16 at Ludborough.
Between Sunday 26 and Tuesday 28 November a memorial cross was removed, flowers and other items left at the site were damaged.
The Family Liaison Officer said: "We are all struggling to find the right words. This is so terribly sad and I cannot understand why anyone would do this. Sean's children and family are truly devastated."
We are appealing for anyone who may have information that can assist our investigation to get in touch. We would also like to hear from anyone who may have dash cam footage that may help in narrowing down when the damage was caused.
Anyone with information is asked to email [email protected] quoting crime reference 23000734732.
